I’m Jade Lee - a registered dietitian living in Austin, Texas. Throughout my life, nutrition has shown me time and time again that the quality of food I eat has an impact on every aspect of life. I believe that optimizing nutrition is vital to our ‘performance’, whether you’re an athlete training for your sport or an individual who wants to feel their best at work and at home while creating a healthy relationship with food.
Originally from Washington state, I earned my Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bastyr University. I’ve been lucky enough to work with professional and elite athletes, eating disorders at the partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care, and medical nutrition. I currently use my passion for sports nutrition as a contract sports dietitian for Team USA | USA Track and Field.
My goal is to apply the most recent evidence-based nutrition science to my practice. It’s important for me to meet my clients where they are at and create tangible solutions that are specifically tailored to them. I believe in a whole food-first approach and incorporate intuitive eating and Health at Every Size® (HAES) practices. I want my clients to create healthy relationships with food to provide trouble-free, long-term health benefits.
So whether you’re an individual who wants to improve your quality of life or you’re an athlete wanting to optimize your performance, I’m excited to work with you!
